I am no scientist and have to say that I don't know who is right on climate change. I always apply the precautionary principle when comparing options like this. Who would do the most damage if they are wrong.

Two options;

1)The climate change promoters, if they are wrong we have a cleaner more efficient, sustainable planet albeit at a high cost.

2)The climate change deniers, if they are wrong and we don't change our current ways we are in for a dirtier, unsustainable planet but it will be cheaper on the road to ruin.

I'll take option 1
